I am the Director of R&D and co-founder at VoxelDance, working at the intersection of computer graphics geometry processing, computational geometry, and additive manufacturing. Before VoxelDance, I spent three years at UnionTech as a Geometry Algorithm Engineer, and I earned my master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2016.
My work focuses on practical geometry algorithms for reliable engineering workflows, especially in mesh processing, 3D model nesting, mesh/tetrahedral algorithms, and representation conversion. Recently, I have been exploring implicit modeling, implicit-to-mesh conversion, and workflows that connect surface, tetrahedral, and volumetric representations.
I am open to collaboration and technical conversations in these directions; you can reach me at wangs@voxeldance.com.
